“Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we could ever dare to ask or hope. “ Ephesians 3:20.
For the first time on the trip the language barrier has presented itself as a challenge. Today we drove three hours into rural Swaziland to work with The Luke Commission. The Luke Commission is a Christian organization that works in Swaziland. They operate from elementary schools giving out medications, eye glasses, test for HIV and more. While we were waiting for directions Adam, Chris, Ryan and myself gathered some kiddos together and took them down to the soccer field; while Susie, Jamie, Matt, Emily and Katie were handing out clothes with other volunteers. Previously we worked in the village of Fontoje where most of the people understood English. This village did not. It was difficult to communicate with these kids but luckily we were speaking soccer. Those kids loved beating us Ungulungas (white man) in soccer.
After these games we gathered some kids around and sang some worship songs with them. We sang one that we learned in Church that sunday and we also sang Glory to God. At first we were just singing to them, but as the kids heard the music a crowd began to form. And before we knew it we had a fun audience. To finish off the day we acted out a skit about Jonah and got the kids involved.
We really experienced Ephesians 3:20 today. Although we were unable to carry a conversation God was able to move through us in ways we could ever dare ask or hope. It was awesome an awesome experience.

May God richly bless you, my dear son, as well as your friends in your good work for our Lord! Everyday we are praying for you.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing… – 2 Cor.2:14-15.

Miss you along with you mom, brother and sisters at home, my son.
