Jan 3rd – We’ve Arrived!!

January.3.2011

Hello from the Downtown Inn in Chiang Mai!!

All 19 of us are safe and sound. The 17 hour flight was very smooth and uneventful. We had our team briefing with ITDP this morning and a very delicious Thai lunch! We are headed out tomorrow morning for the village. Our work assignments will include laying the foundation for a classroom, renovating the school, and conducting a medical clinic. Our next communication will be January 12th when we return to Chiang Mai. We appreciate your prayers!

Sa wat de kap (good bye)!!

We are all inventors, each sailing out on a voyage of discovery, guided each by a private chart, of which there is no duplicate. The world is all gates, all opportunities. “Riders”

Thank you for this update on the Thailand team. Since my son David is traveling with them it is very comforting as a Mom to hear that they got there safely.

Thank you for letting us know the team arrived safely. Our daughter Jessie Wilson let us know that communication would be sparse, so we’ve been praying for her and the team everyday. Our hope is that the Lord will use your hands, your feet, and your servants heart to reach out and touch the needs in this past of the world. This missions trip makes us wish we were able to be so adventurous!! We love you Jessie and are truly amazed at how God has opened up so many pathways for you. You’ve always had a compassionate heart and we are so delighted that God has led you to such a wonderful church home. May God Bless you and your friends on this mission trip and the ones to come! Looking forward to your return!…… Love, Mom & Dad
